An emblematic name in painting graphics and illustration Valentin Tanase is one of the most respected visual artists in Romania with an impressive career spanning over 50 years.
A graduate of the Nicolae Grigorescu Institute of Fine Arts a member of the Union of Fine Artists of Romania and former director of the Armys Fine Arts Studio Valentin Tnase has created dozens of personal exhibitions monumental works and comics that have left their mark on generations The artist was decorated with the national Order Star of Romania in the rank of Officer in 2000 with the King Michael for Loyalty medal in 2014 and with the Order of Cultural Merit in the rank of Knight in 2015.
